Computational Simulation Software, LLC (csimsoft) is a privately held international developer, provider and operator of high-quality pre-processing (meshing) software and services to the Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics communities. Our experienced team is the primary engineering and development force behind Cubit, as well as other pre-processing and post-processing solutions.
Our History
csimsoft Cubit was first developend in 1989 at Sandia National Laboratories to support computational field simulations for a variety of physics codes and has grown to play a significant role in academia and corporate development with thousands of active users world-wide. The Cubit community contributes to ongoing research efforts to improve and discover new mesh generation algorithms, develop new tools for geometry cleanup and simplification and handle ever more complex preprocessing tasks for computational simulations.
Csimsoft was formed in 2004 to bring Cubit to commercial users world-wide. Csimsoft continues to enhance Cubit in the areas of geometry creation, mesh generation and smoothing, and support for CFD.
Today, csimsoft is a recognized international leader in providing high-quality hex and tet meshing software and FEA and CFD solutions to meet the needs of its customers in the automotive, oil and gas, heavy equipment manufacturing and other industries.
