Mr. Tidwell has more than 37 year experience in software development. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah. He has extensive experience developing many different types of applications in C/C++, Java, Python, and Ada including complex geometry and meshing algorithms, speech enabling applications, accounting systems, datalink command and control, GUI applications, real-time airborne datalink embedded apps, and software configuration management systems. Mr. Tidwell spent many years developing applications on Linux and Unix systems including inter-process/network communication, client/server applications and shell scripts; Compiler and text editor development in mainframe/intelligent workstation environment. Mr. Tidwell spent 10 years at UNISYS Corp. (formerly Sperry Corp.) developing and researching the application of formal software development methodologies. He co-founded Software Technology and Tools, Inc. In 1993, he joined L3 Communications in Salt Lake City, UT where he was the principle software engineer for various government projects. Mr. Tidwell took a position at Novell Inc. in Provo, UT. He served as the senior software developer at Fonix Corp where he developed various components of Fonix's speech oriented systems for multiple platforms. In 2003, Mr. Tidwell joined ETI/csimsoft.
